Research Assistant - McGraw Lab

The Department of Biology, in the Eberly College of Science, has part‑time openings for Research Lab Assistants to work in the McGraw research lab within the department this academic year.

• Design, conduct, and execute research projects and experiments under the guidance of senior research personnel.
• Collect, correlate, analyze, summarize, and report data in accordance with established protocols.
• Inform the principal investigator of relevant research information and updates.
• Assist in the development and design of research projects, including laboratory and field experiments to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions.
• Process and present data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation for research projects.
• Gather, summarize, and interpret information on laws, policies, industry standards, and emerging trends related to the field of study.

• Part‑time employment during the academic year.
• Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
