SeniorScientist – Digital Insights
We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Digital Insights team within the Development Sciences and Clinical Supply (DSCS) Digital Technologies organization. The role centers on computational biology, proteomics, and multi‑omics data integration to support biomanufacturing and pipeline programs across biologics, vaccine, and small‑molecule projects.
Responsibilities- Work within an interdisciplinary team to perform and support omics analysis of biomanufacturing processes.
- Support and perform proteomics and metabolomics data analysis, integrating multi‑omics data across pipeline programs.
- Design, develop, and adapt computational approaches and pipelines for novel applications.
- Democratize data access by building interactive dashboards and maintaining databases for non‑computational stakeholders.
- Author technical documents and reports in accordance with regulatory and business requirements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across IT, analytical, manufacturing, process development, quality, and regulatory partners.
- Adhere to FAIR principles to maintain a well‑documented, reproducible, and versioned codebase.
- Communicate scientific findings effectively within a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary global team.
- Ph.D. in Biology or related life sciences with a strong bioinformatic component, graduating September 2026 or earlier.
- M.S. in Biology or related life sciences with a strong bioinformatic component and minimum 2+ years experience.
- B.S. in Biology or related life sciences with a strong bioinformatic component and minimum 4+ years experience.
- Strong programming experience (R, Python, Nextflow, Bash).
- Experience managing data and workflows in cloud computing environments.
- Proficiency with version control tools such as git (Git Hub, Bit Bucket).
- Deep knowledge of computational methods for one or more omics technologies (proteomics, metabolomics, genomics, transcriptomics).
- Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
- Analytical experience in proteomics and metabolomics data analysis.
- Familiarity with transcriptomics analysis methods (bulk and single‑cell).
- Experience with pathway analysis, host cell protein characterization, post‑translational modification, and in silico immunogenicity screening.
- Experience with multi‑omics data integration.
- Experience with metabolic modeling and 13C flux analysis in CHO systems.
- Experience with viral, bacterial, or eukaryotic genome assembly.
- Experience in GxP or GMP environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with bench methods (mass‑spec, sequencing library prep, microbial culturing).
