Research Support Position
Biobehavioral Health is seeking applicants for a part-time Research Support position. The Research Support position performs a variety of specialized tasks associated with conducting lab research, including: blood sample handling and processing; literature searches; editing and formatting manuscript text and tables; data scoring and entry; running simple/basic statistical analyses; maintaining participant records; basic lab work.
Sample Work
Activities:
- Will process human blood samples in a wet lab and will transport the blood samples across campus
- Assist in the execution of research projects, under general direction of senior research personnel and according to standard protocols or research plans; contribute to experiments/tests in the laboratory/field to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions
- Aid in scoring and organization of participant data in compliance with protocols
- Conducting specified searches of the broader literature for use in technical reports, documents, proposals, or oral/written presentations
Schedule:
12 hours per week
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $15 per hour.
