Analytical Lab Consultant
Location:
Myerstown, PA Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Lab Consultant to support analytical testing, method development, and product development activities within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will play a key part in executing laboratory studies, supporting R&D initiatives, and ensuring high-quality analytical data for solid oral dosage and controlled substance products.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, laboratory investigations, and technical documentation in a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform analytical testing to support product development, formulation, and stability programs.
- Conduct testing of solid oral dosage forms and controlled substance drug products.
- Operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation, including:
- HPLC
- Dissolution Systems
- UV-Visible Spectroscopy
- Prepare samples, standards, and reagents in accordance with approved procedures.
- Execute analytical methods and support method development, optimization, and transfer activities.
- Analyze, interpret, and document test results accurately and in compliance with GMP requirements.
- Generate technical reports, laboratory records, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, Dissolution, and UV analytical techniques.
- Experience using Empower Chromatography Data System (CDS).
- Strong understanding of analytical laboratory operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and report generation skills.
- Ability to execute laboratory protocols and validated analytical methods independently.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
