Overview
Penn State’s Child Maltreatment Solutions Network is offering a 2‑year, NICHD‑funded T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in child maltreatment science. Fellows will specialize in areas such as Biology and Health, Developmental Processes, Prevention and Treatment, and Policy and Administrative Data Systems, and will work on large‑scale research projects dealing with child welfare–involved youth, interventions, longitudinal studies, and data analysis. The program provides transdisciplinary training, research ethics instruction, professional development, grant writing, and opportunities to translate findings into practice and policy.
Responsibilities- Design and conduct research studies in child maltreatment science.
- Analyze data and develop manuscripts for publication.
- Write grant proposals and progress reports.
- Collaborate with a diverse mentor team of over 20 Penn State faculty.
- Translate research findings to inform practice and policy.
- Doctorate in a relevant field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in research and data analysis on child maltreatment or a related area.
- Strong interest in a transdisciplinary approach to child maltreatment research.
