Job Description:

Research Scientist – Genetic Toxicology

• Design and conduct in vitro genotoxicity studies (e.g., in vitro micronucleus, chromosome aberration assays) under both screening and GLP conditions.
• Perform assays using mammalian cell cultures or isolated samples from in vivo studies.
• Collaborate closely with the Genetic Toxicology group and other functional areas within Non-clinical Drug Safety.
• Maintain aseptic techniques, record-keeping, and data integrity in line with GLP guidelines.
• Adapt to rapidly changing assignments, meet tight timelines, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Communicate results effectively in written reports and verbal presentations.

• Bachelor of Science in Biology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related sciences with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience.
• Strong laboratory skills in cellular/molecular biology, including in vitro cell culture techniques.
• Experience with in vitro micronucleus assay or chromosome aberration assay preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate across diverse scientific backgrounds.

Salary range: $87,300.00 – $. The base salary will be commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for annual bonus and long term incentive if applicable.
