Location: Spring House

Position Overview

We are searching for the best talent for an In Vivo Associate Scientist II in Immunology Discovery to work in Spring House, PA. The role is part of a fast‑paced, highly matrixed Immunology Discovery team focused on developing novel therapeutics for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute in vivo and ex vivo experiments to support the Immunology Discovery strategy.
  • Develop experimental plans, coordinate studies, and collect and analyze data with a focus on data integrity.
  • Interpret results, troubleshoot experimental challenges, and present findings to peer scientists.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of protocols, observations, and analyses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Spring House, La Jolla, and Cambridge campuses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, toxicology or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of pharmaceutical industry/CRO experience involving in vivo work.
  • Strong in vivo rodent handling skills, including classic PK/PD models, dosing, blood collection, tissue harvesting, and necropsies.
  • Experience with disease models in the immunology space (respiratory, rheumatology, gastrointestinal, skin).
  • Demonstrated experimental design, study coordination, data interpretation, and documentation experience.
  • Familiarity with animal ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, able to work both in a team and independently.
  • Experience with ancillary in vitro and ex vivo assays (cell cultures, multicolor flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, WB) is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills
  • Analytical reasoning, data analysis, and data compilation.
  • Knowledge of design of experiments (DOE) and laboratory experiments.
  • Experience with molecular diagnostics, pharmaceutical microbiology, and drug discovery development.
  • Strong project management, report writing, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Technological savvy and execution focus.
