The Pennsylvania State University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to advance reactive molecular dynamics and AI-driven growth modeling of 2D materials, under the direction of Dr. Adri van Duin.
You will perform and analyze ReaxFF simulations of 2D-material growth and link results to data science and CFD methods. The role also includes Quantum Chemical simulations of reaction mechanisms and collaboration to integrate ReaxFF into autonomous growth schemes.
