We are searching for the best talent for Senior Scientist, In-Silico Formulations, located in Malvern, PA.

Purpose:

The Senior Scientist, In-Silico Formulations will work in the Protein Drug Product Development & Delivery (DPD&D) department. This role requires expertise in computational biophysics, protein computational modeling, and/or formulation science. In this role the candidate will be responsible for applying computational methods, including antibody homology modeling, molecular dynamics, intrinsic property calculations, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) to guide formulation selection and optimization.

Additionally, the candidate will advance various drug development projects, participate in multi-disciplinary teams including biologists, chemical engineers, pharmacists, and structural biologists, and provide key expertise in the use and interpretation of structural data related to drug development.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education:

• A minimum of a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, computational sciences, bioengineering, chemistry, biophysics, or related subject area OR master's degree with at least 3 years of related experience OR bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of related experience

Experience and

Skills Required:

• Expertise using molecular dynamics packages (e.g., GROMACS, NAMD, Amber, CHARMM), modeling/visualization tools (e.g., MOE, Schrodinger, VMD, PyMOL), and data analysis/automation methods (e.g., shell scripting and Python) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to model and simulate diverse modalities (e.g., small molecules, proteins, lipids, DNA/RNA, etc.)
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
