The Wherry lab, in the Department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics, has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow to join a CRI-funded research project. This position is partof a larger CRI Initiative to establish a data resource that will enable data-driven innovation in immunotherapy and address thetranslational gap between preclinical models and clinical trials.

This Immunotherapy Altas will incorporate comprehensive immunelandscapes across commonly used mouse models as well as how theselandscapes are altered when immunotherapy perturbations areapplied. The goal for this position is to contribute to theestablishment of this resource and to use it to address data-drivenhypotheses that are generated based on analyses of this resource.

The postdoctoral fellow will lead this project in the Wherry laband be instrumental in integrating similar data across two additional CRI-Immunotherapy Atlas labs. Experimental approaches toaddress the tumor-immune microenvironment will include flowcytometry, scRNA (+TCR)-seq, proteomics, and spatialanalysis.

This position is an excellent opportunity to learn how to mastercutting-edge technologies, leverage large datasets, generatedata-driven hypotheses, and become a strong collaborativescientific leader.

Successful candidates will have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree,experience in immunology and/or cancer biology, a strong record of productivity, and a demonstrated ability to work independently andas a team.
