Job Description SummaryResponsible for both strategic planning and day to day management of a complex and broad range of projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to the University. Leads development of study protocols, writing grants, managing the detailed operations of projects, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, cultivating close relationships with community partner organizations, and drafting/editing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journal.
Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities
- Provides daily operations management of research projects working in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and project teams; supervises staff, plans meetings, and assists with managing lab budget
- Develops and manages systems for data collection, quality control and lab protocol development (SOPs)
- Manages and oversees collaborations with other investigators and labs
- Helps to mentor and support lab trainees; teaches lab techniques and standardized protocols
- Oversees and manages data for the research projects
- Drafts articles for publication; prepares data summaries
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years or Master of Science, Master of Arts, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Position is contingent upon continued funding.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
