Job Description Summary

The candidate will be asked to organize and catalogue imaging filescollected during a longitudinal cohort of pregnant patients. Thecohort, Placenta3D, is an NIH-sponsored cohort that recruitedpregnant patients to have a research ultrasound at 3 time points inpregnancy. The scanning protocol for complex with numerous 3

Dvolumes and Doppler images obtained. There are over 400 subjectsand 1000 scans collected. However, there is a need to catalogue andlabel the various images obtained for each visit so we can prepare the data for analysis.

The temporary employee will work under Dr Nadav Schwartz, MD, aProfessor of OBGYN in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine atPENN and is the principal investigator on the study.

Responsibilities:
  • Export imaging files from ultrasound machines and servers forreview
  • View and catalogue ultrasound images obtained on studyparticipants
  • Consolidate duplicate images and filter out erroneous orunrelated images
  • Support the quality assurance process that the study teamdeploys on the images
Required Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of human biology and pregnancy
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any experience with medical imaging, specificallyultrasound
  • Experience with Red Cap database
  • Prior experience with clinical research
