Pharmacokinetics (Pk) Assay Development Scientist
Required
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of hands-on lab experience (at least 1 year in industry) - Hands on ligand binding assay development and troubleshooting experience (ELISA and/or MSD) - Strong technical expertise and direct experience in bioanalytical methods (ELISA, ECLIA) using different immunological and biochemical platforms, such as MSD, Gyros, Singulex, or other platforms.
- Experience with antibody pair selection for an immunoassay
- Ability to work with human and animal blood specimens
- Excellent record keeping, SOP writing, communication skills, and a customer-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with any automation platforms
- Previous experience with tissue homogenization processing for analysis of therapeutics and/or biomarkers
- Working knowledge of or experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and electronic inventory software
Job Description:
Our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA is seeking a Pharmacokinetics (PK) Assay Development Scientist within the Bioanalytical Sciences group. This group is responsible for developing, validating, and conducting bioanalytical methods related to large molecule biotherapeutic drug development across all therapeutic areas, spanning nonclinical studies to post-market clinical development. The primary responsibility for this position will be to develop immunological methods for supporting clinical PK studies under GxP guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include assay troubleshooting, development of new technology platform, and assay automation.
