Job Description Summary

Leads, oversees, and designs advanced experiments. Assists the principal investigator and plays a leading role in developing aresearch program in the advancement of specific area of study andplays a crucial role in all aspects of research products including development, implementation, and data analysis. Assesses proposed projects by conducting feasibility studies to provide valuableinput regarding viability, efficiency, timeline, and study design.

This includes overseeing workflow and productivity of lab personnel and providing training to them on specific techniques as necessary.

Responsible for data analysis, preparation of manuscripts, and presenting research findings through various forums.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis and other aspects of quantitative and qualitative research as well as theoretical research
  • Review, edit, format, and write manuscripts for publication andof grant proposals
  • Assist with and often direct the design and implementation of original experiments
  • Perform data collection and management
  • Administer literature reviews
  • Other research and administrative duties
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy, and 5 to 7 years of postdoctoral experience required.
