We are searching for the best talent for Scientist, Biological Research - Oncology for Spring House, PA. About the position:
The Scientist will join a drug discovery team developing groundbreaking and best-in-class therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer. They will be a key contributor towards advancing research programs through various stages of preclinical drug discovery. This is a laboratory-based position requiring high productivity, effective and frequent collaboration with colleagues within the oncology group and other various cross-functional groups in the organization.

This position requires versatility, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and high-level alignment with the Team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute sophisticated in vitro experiments, and interpret data for validation and characterization of new therapeutic agents and targets to progress programs
  • Support the generation of comprehensive and well-designed pre-clinical data packages in support of various programs, including for IND readiness for First-In-Human (FIH) studies
  • Routinely perform cell biology techniques. Experience in cell culture, characterization of cell lines/tissue lysates by western blotting/qPCR/etc, cell proliferation assays including Incucyte-based assays, flow cytometry/FACS, CRISPR gene knockout and Lentiviral transduction of stable cell lines, cell imaging and other functional assays, etc. is needed
  • Analyze, prepare, and present data to internal stakeholders and project teams
  • Work independently and perform multiple experiments simultaneously to generate robust data packages and align with scientific strategies and demands
  • Contribute to various projects outside of their own, and collaborate with team members from all relevant functions
  • Keep up to date with the literature related to the field of prostate cancer
  • Demonstrate clear and professional verbal and written communication
Qualifications / Requirements

Required:

An M.S. with at least 2 years of relevant experience or a B.S. with at least 3 years of relevant experience, performing progressively advanced duties at the Associate Scientist level, or the equivalent training/experience Strong cell biology and assay development skills are required A robust background in cancer biology and drug discovery is required Previous experience screening and characterizing biologic and small molecule leads is required Proficiency with software such as Graph Pad Prism, Flow Jo, and Microsoft Office is required Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and record-keeping skills

Preferred:
