The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Laboratory Animals Resources (LAR) helps advance high-quality drug candidates into development by assisting in defining the non‑clinical safety and selectivity of lead compounds.
LAR provides collaborative research in animal model development, veterinary medical and animal care, research facility management and also responds to regulatory questions in support of drug registration. Under general supervision of Director/Sr. Director and Vivarium Managers, interns will be exposed to the comprehensive and specialized professional Vivarium program for a variety of laboratory animal species at our Company's Research Laboratories.
Activities will be appropriate to the degree of the candidate, involving a range of experiences from assisting with clinical cases, monitoring of infectious diseases, coordinating husbandry and aspects of personnel management. Collaboration with ongoing in vivo drug discovery and development projects is expected, to include assisting with the implementation of special projects to facilitate advancements in laboratory animal care or use, consistent with research requirements.
Interns are expected to prepare and present a final report on their training and research experience. Our ability to excel depends on the integrity, knowledge, imagination, skill, diversity and teamwork of people like you. To this end, we strive to create an environment of mutual respect, encouragement and teamwork. As part of our global team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented and dedicated colleagues while developing and expanding your career.
