Role
Senior Scientist, Biostatistics within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on supporting clinical trial and development studies with evolving supervision.
Responsibilities- Design and analyze research studies, interpret and communicate data evidence, optimize study designs, and collaborate cross-functionally with Quantitative Sciences and Clinical Pharmacology teams.
- Apply advanced statistical methods, including data-adaptive approaches and AI, to address complex project needs.
- Support regulatory commitments, contribute to publications, and represent the statistical function in various teams.
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Statistics or related field.
- Proficient in R, SAS, and Python.
- Demonstrated experience in biopharmaceutical research, R&D strategies, and regulatory standards.
- Experience in clinical trial design, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with specific therapeutic areas, modalities (biologics, small molecules, cell/gene therapies), or clinical phases.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects independently.
- Develops statistical analysis for clinical development.
- Supports regulatory submissions.
- Engages in process improvement.
- On-site at one of the specified US locations (Spring House PA, Titusville NJ, Raritan NJ, San Diego CA, or Cambridge MA).
- No remote option.
- Travel as needed.
