ResponsibilitiesThe postdoctoral candidate will work under the supervision of their postdoctoral mentors and other senior epidemiologists. They will be involved in a variety of research activities aimed at advancing our understanding of epidemiology and contributing to our company's mission. Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting targeted and systematic literature reviews, including quantitative evidence synthesis and meta-analysis.
- Developing a fit-for-purpose risk-of-bias assessment tool to evaluate the methodological quality of pulmonary hypertension studies.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop an AI-enabled platform for synthesizing evidence from the published literature.
- Developing study protocols, conducting epidemiologic studies and data analyses, and preparing final study reports.
- Preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presenting research findings at scientific conferences.
- Must currently hold a PhD OR
- Receive a Ph.D. no later than spring 2027
- Ph.D. in Epidemiology (highly preferred) , or or a related field.
- Proficiency in epidemiological methods and study design and conduct, including data analysis.
- Experience in systematic literature review and meta-analysis.
- Experience in using AI tools for research and data analysis.
- Record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Creative problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with colleagues with a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise.
- Background or prior experience in pulmonary hypertension and/or cardiorespiratory.
The salary range for this role is: $82,000- $92,000
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
