NO1 Sushi is hiring a Sushi Chef to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. They’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented culinary professional with at least one year of sushi preparation experience who can consistently produce high-quality maki, sashimi, and other sushi items.
This position is available full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling options for qualified candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Fillet and prepare whole fish for sushi service
- Cook, season, and properly handle sushi rice
- Prepare maki rolls and sashimi with precision and attention to presentation
- Maintain consistent quality and portion standards
- Monitor ingredient and stock levels
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of sushi chef or relevant sushi preparation experience
- Experience filleting whole fish
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage and monitor stock levels
