The purpose of this position is to manage and execute the fulfillment lifecycle for the online store. This role involves the secure preparation of merchandise for shipment and the maintenance of facility cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient operational environment.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience in shipping, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Skills:

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Supervision Received & Exercised
  • Supervision Received:
    The eCommerce Team Member functions under the direct supervision of the eCommerce Manager with latitude for independent action within his/her own areas of responsibility in accordance with agency policy.
  • Supervision Exercised:
    This position does not exercise supervision over any employees.
Skills, Abilities, and Duties

Shipping Assistance:

  • Assist in packaging items securely for shipment, including wrapping, boxing, and labeling merchandise.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of shipments and adherence to shipping protocols and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track deliveries as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, sorting, and storing incoming merchandise.

Janitorial Duties:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying management of any shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to support store operations and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist other team members as needed with tasks related to donation processing, retail sales, or customer service.
Physical Demands
  • Vision/Hearing:
    Vision and hearing must be corrected to within normal limits.
  • Movement:
    Ability to perform prolonged walking and standing, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Lifting:
    Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
