Travel Plaza Cashier

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the friendly face our customers encounter, responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing excellent customer service.

• Operate cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process customer purchases of fuel, merchandise, and services.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, providing correct change and receipts.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product location and information.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including dusting shelves, stocking merchandise, and cleaning spills.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management.
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a POS system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
