Greggs Bakery Assistant – Fairfield

18+ years old. 24 hours per week (more when needed), including weekends and bank holidays. Shift times: 5am‑1pm, 7am‑3pm, 11am‑7pm.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Answer inquiries and provide product information.
• Process sales accurately at the till and promote multi‑buy offers.
• Maintain a clean, organised sales floor, rotate stock and check deliveries.
• Complete additional tasks such as stock and gap checks, price changes and promotional displays.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Contribute ideas to improve customer service and drive sales.
• Adhere to legislative responsibilities of a retail environment.

• Previous experience in retail or a related role preferred.
• Reliably follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of retail legislative responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Desirable: experience with ‘Challenge 25’ policy.
