Member Service Associate responsible for delivering excellent service to Sam's Club members. Duties include operating checkout equipment, resolving member concerns, maintaining the checkout area, conducting safety sweeps, and supporting member use of self‑service technology.

• Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a safe and organized checkout and entrance/exit areas, including safety sweeps and observation of safety issues.
• Verify membership cards, assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and help with transporting items.
• Conduct emergency response procedures and secure club assets by monitoring for potential criminal activity.
• Maintain required paperwork, logs, and documentation related to sales and safety.
• Train Member Frontline Services associates on processes, tools, and new program rollouts.
• Identify shrink and damages, zone the area, and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Adhere to company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Collaborate with managers and coworkers to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific responsibilities.
