Part‑Time Sales Associate – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (ILSC)
We are hiring at Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores.
Part‑Time Sales Associate – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (ILSC) positions are available at Store #0286.
As a Part‑Time Sales Associate, you will be the face of the store, engaging with customers, assisting with sales, and contributing to a positive shopping atmosphere. The position offers competitive pay and Affordable Care Act medical benefits starting on the first day of employment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and help shoppers find what they need.
- Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
- Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
- Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders for delivery vehicles.
- Safely lift products 30–50 pounds (occasionally up to 60 pounds) from the floor or overhead positions.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers who are legally authorized.
- Work in a friendly, team‑oriented environment where daily challenges and rewards arise.
- Free onsite parking at Pines Plaza, Ross.
- Permanent, part‑time employment.
- Preferred availability: 32 hours per week, with flexible shifts typically ranging from 4 to 7.5 hours during the week and weekend, both daytime and evening.
- Work hours include:
- Monday & Wednesday – 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
- Sunday – 10:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Schedule details may change to meet store operational needs; applicants may be required to work schedules not outlined above.
- A minimum of 13 hours per week is required with the ability to work additional hours. Applicants interested in >13 hours can discuss availability with the General Manager.
- Telework is not an option for this position.
- Work may be assigned to other stores within the county or district if operationally necessary. Applications are non‑transferable; applicants must be willing to work at the listed location.
- Minimum salary is the state mandated starting rate and is not negotiable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation. A felony conviction within the last ten years disqualifies a candidate per Pennsylvania law.
