Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Philadelphia is looking for a Full‑Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk

As a Sales Team Lead, you will serve as a lead worker for a shift and guide a team of clerks. This Shift Lead position is also responsible for working in collaboration with the FW&GS management team.
- Shift Leadership:
Manage daily store functions, oversee and train lower‑level clerks, ensuring they follow store procedures and policies. - Customer Service:
Positively engage with shoppers, provide product guidance, and help resolve concerns. - Store Readiness:
Unload shipments, stock shelves, assemble product displays, and maintain store cleanliness. - Sales Operations:
Use cash registers, scan products, accurately handle cash, and address pricing issues. - Report Preparation:
Complete shift reports including accounting, inventory management, and cash management reports.
- Free, secure, onsite parking.
- Full‑time employment.
- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.
- This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed.
- Telework:
This position is not eligible for telework. - Salary:
Starting salary for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed and is not negotiable.
- Minimum Experience:
Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or six months of retail sales work. - Other Requirements:
Meet the PA residency requirement; be able to perform essential job functions. - Legal Requirements:
Pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not permitted to work for the PLCB per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code; other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
