As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions. Work with a variety of products for decorating bags, tips, nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management. Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training and product quality with the member in mind.
• Drive the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, preparing for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions and resolving member issues and concerns.
• Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in Bakery and modeling high quality service and products. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training, developing, influencing and inspiring them for working in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations, communicate progress and recommend improvements.

• 6 months’ experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
