Job Summary – Cake DecoratorExperienced cake decorator with full range of skills from basic cake design to custom cakes and tiered cakes
Answer phone and take custom orders
Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service
Serves the customer in a friendly manner
Job required high volume of work during holiday seasons
Cleaning equipment and making sure floor is clean and safe
Must work well with others and be able to work with customers
Other assignments as directed by supervisor
Physical Demands:
- Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty without restrictions
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
- Work in hot temperature environment
- Work safely around ovens
- Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 50 pounds
- Safe in every action taken; lifting only in the appropriate manner
- Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance
Skills Requirements:
Friendly personality and "customer service" mentality
Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation
Good verbal and written communications skills in English with reasonable proficiency
Good team player; able to work with fellow associates to achieve goals
Possess some baking experience in a retail or commercial establishment
Rolled fondant work a plus
Work assigned schedule
Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and substance abuse free
Must be 18 years of age
