Retail Sales Associate – Part Time

Pure Hockey is seeking a Sales Associate to join our Retail Operations team. In this fast-paced, customer-first environment, you’ll help players and families choose the right hockey equipment, skates, sticks, and apparel while delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities include engaging customers on the sales floor, operating the POS system, cash handling, merchandising, inventory support, and assisting with e-commerce pickups and returns. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for hockey or sports.

• Deliver customer-first service by assisting players and families with selecting hockey equipment, skates, sticks, and apparel.
• Operate the POS system accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain balanced registers.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, restock shelves, and ensure fitting rooms and sales floor are organized.
• Develop strong product knowledge of current hockey gear to make informed recommendations.
• Support e-commerce orders including in-store pickup, shipping, and returns as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts, receiving shipments, and maintaining backroom organization.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented store culture aligned with Pure Hockey’s passion for the game.
• Follow all safety, loss prevention, and company policies in a fast-paced retail environment.
