Part-Time Front-Of-House Event Staff

The Center for the Performing Arts in the College of Arts and Architecture is seeking applicants for part-time front-of-house event team members.

Job duties to include:

• Welcoming and directing patrons
• Lobby and event space set-up
• Scanning tickets for entry
• Assuring patron safety
• Assisting with volunteer usher management
• Providing the best possible customer service experience for visitors.

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

• Successful candidates must be current Penn State students who have or wish to develop excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule:

• This position requires evening hours and some weekends
• Hours vary and schedules are determined based on the weekly event schedule.

Compensation The starting rate for this job is $15/hour.
