Assistant Manager

Sheetz is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a high-energy convenience store and food service operation. In this role, you'll support daily store operations, including cash management, inventory control, merchandising, and food safety. You will supervise and coach team members, assist with scheduling, and ensure outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You'll help maintain store appearance, resolve customer issues, and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a 24/7 retail and food service environment
• Assist in daily store operations including cash handling, inventory control, merchandising, and food safety compliance
• Monitor store appearance, product quality, and cleanliness to meet Sheetz operational standards
• Help create work schedules, delegate tasks, and coach team members to meet performance and service goals
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience
• Support training and development of new employees and promote a culture of safety, respect, and fun
• Assist with tracking sales, labor, and shrink to support store performance targets
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and loss prevention procedures
