Lead Team Member

Sheetz is seeking a Lead Team Member to guide store shifts in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail and food service environment. In this role, you'll lead by example on the sales floor, supporting team members, delivering friendly, accurate service, and upholding Sheetz standards for cleanliness, food safety, and store appearance. You will assist with training, task direction, and basic shift coordination while handling cash, operating POS systems, and resolving customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store team members during shifts to deliver excellent customer service
• Support daily store operations including cash handling, merchandising, and inventory tasks
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members on Sheetz standards and procedures
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory policies
• Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and workflow to meet sales and service goals
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, modeling a customer-obsessed mindset
• Monitor store appearance, product availability, and equipment to maintain a safe environment
• Communicate effectively with management on shift performance, needs, and opportunities
