Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a
Director of Retail
. In this role,you’ll manage all retail operations throughout the resort, including year-round outlets such as Marrakesh Market, Indigo Swimwear & Accessories, and Kalahari Outpost. You’ll operate in a “for-profit” environment, seek pop-up opportunities throughout the resort, and ensure guest service exceeds expectations. You’ll also monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and meet monthly sales goals while fostering a positive working environment.

You’ll enhance the guest and associate experience by leading dynamic retail operations that offer convenient, high-quality shopping experiences throughout the resort. Through strong leadership and support, you’ll empower associates to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive, engaging work environment.

• Oversee all retail operations across the resort, ensuring profitable performance, brand consistency, and exceptional guest service.
• Lead, coach, and develop retail associates to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and financial performance, including forecasting, purchasing, and meeting sales targets.
• Identify and implement merchandising strategies and pop-up retail opportunities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
• Develop and enforce operational standards and procedures to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a consistently high-quality retail environment.

• We do require that you have aminimum of four years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of management experience in a hotel, resort or retail environment is required.
