Overview

Dura-Line is hiring a Territory Sales Manager for the Michigan and Indiana area. This role involves giving sales presentations in person or virtual settings, working in the field on installations, collaborating with the team on projects, and answering customer questions. You will work closely with District Managers, Accessories Global Business Leaders, and Product Managers to develop strategies and growth initiatives within the US and Canada for the conduit and accessories product portfolios.

Remote (Candidates must be local to Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio area)

About the Role
  • 2-5+ years of engineering, technical sales, and business development experience
  • Must be able to travel 70% of the time and have experience working individually/remotely
  • Professional industry experience and general knowledge in construction, fiber/conduit, telecom, and datacom accessories is a major plus
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, end users/owners, and engineering firms
  • Develop, maintain, and lead Manufacturer Reps in the territory
  • Work with multi-level cross-functional teams (commercial, technical, operational aspects)
  • Collaborate with application engineers to provide customer-appropriate technical support at the after-sale stage and prepare technical/commercial proposals
  • Manage sales activities (quotes, RFQ/RFP, day-to-day sales activities, opportunity management, pricing, customer presentation materials, lead creation, client visits)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational/process improvement skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills with ability to develop storytelling presentations
  • Internal & external customer relationship management
  • Transfer of technical knowledge to customers
  • Energetic, resilient, results-oriented, entrepreneurial, with integrity

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $88,000 - $143,000/yr. The base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, location, and internal equity.”
