Equipment Sales Associate - Philadelphia

Job Overview

The Equipment Sales Associate is responsible for selling dental equipment and supporting the growth of regional market share. This position provides 1–3 years of industry‑leading training and exposure while covering an assigned territory, during which individuals will gain exposure to all aspects of the Equipment Specialist role. The role will be based in Philadelphia. After the training period, individuals may be considered for placement into a permanent territory, potentially anywhere in the United States, and must be willing to relocate for future assignments.

• Maintain customer relationships and educate customers on product features, distinctions, and utilization as directed by the region’s Equipment Specialist(s).
• Represent the company in sales calls and assist the regional sales team in achieving designated sales goals.
• Achieve annual sales goals established with the Director of Equipment Sales.
• Support the growth of market share within the assigned region.
• Partner with the Marketing team and serve as the lead on equipment marketing leads.
• Manage administrative duties such as preparing reports, entering data in Salesforce, quoting, site‑checks, and following up on equipment orders in collaboration with the regional service team.
• Attend sales meetings and trade shows, staying cognizant of industry trends and developments. Develop new business and expand existing customers through the introduction of new products, presenting product information, and explaining product features and distinctions.
• Work with manufacturer sales representatives to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, expand business opportunities, and increase customer service.
• Co‑travel and learn from a tenured Equipment Specialist team—including product knowledge, drawings, site visits, quoting, installations, worksheets, and associated processes.

Typically 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.

Typically a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

Frequent daily travel, including job shadowing senior‑level sales professionals to learn the business and in‑services at customer locations. No special physical demands required. Temporary relocation to an open territory may be required for extended periods to cover vacancies. A valid driver’s license is required.
