OverviewOur Sales Coordinators are essential to the hotel’s success, acting as a direct link between the front desk and our sales team. They assist with incoming reservation calls for groups and meetings and support the sales team with contracts, room blocks, and communication to ensure guests and corporate clients receive exactly what we promised.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming sales calls, responding quickly, professionally, and clearly to internal partners and external customers.
- Manage and assist with room blocks, select reporting, client notifications for key dates (cut‑off, payment schedules), group resumes, event orders, BEOs, billing details, and other administrative aspects of booking or execution of groups and events.
- Handle pre‑event, main event, and post‑event details—tracking, detailing, and communicating with internal partners and external clients about each assigned event and group.
- Acquire knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, presentation, function spaces, audio‑visual setups, and other details essential to group and event success.
- Utilize digital sales systems and processes (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process) and understand the hotel’s sales strategies (rates, fees, budgeted goals).
- Participate in and report at internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications required for this position.
- Work collaboratively, fostering teamwork and embodying an entrepreneurial spirit to make decisions that benefit the hotel and achieve team goals.
- Take ownership of career development, advocating for training and opportunities to grow professionally.
Hotel experience is preferred.
