Overview
SEI’s Advisor business is expanding the Sales & Experience Team and is currently seeking a qualified Account Executive to partner closely with senior Business Development professionals. The role focuses on engaging independent financial advisors, driving new client acquisition, deepening existing relationships, and managing territory growth within the Independent Broker/Dealer channel.
What You Will Do- Serve as the primary internal point‑of‑contact for current firms and lead client and account management in the Independent Broker/Dealer channel.
- Work in coordination with a partner senior Business Development professional to develop and execute territory strategy.
- Proactively engage current and prospective clients through online meetings, telephone, email, and virtual presentations to advance sales agendas and support full engagement with SEI solutions.
- Influence the development and activation of advisor‑client relationships at all stages of the buying journey.
- Shape and implement sophisticated, collaborative growth agendas aimed at motivating prospective clients to embrace change and convert business.
- Utilize mastery of SEI’s suite of solutions to educate and persuade clients across custody, technology, asset management, and business‑centric solutions.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services client sales and service support, with direct experience in the independent Broker/Dealer channel strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or a minimum of 2 years’ SEI experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current NASAA Series
65 or Series
66 license, or the ability to acquire one within 90 days. - Experience in multi‑channel communication, including face‑to‑face, in‑person one‑to‑many and virtual presentations, live and recorded video, phone, and email.
- Outstanding time‑management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of exceeding expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, work independently and within a team, and pursue continuous learning through mentorship.
- Strong influence skills and critical, collaborative problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a record of high buyer satisfaction.
