YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As a Market Manager, you will guide your market to deliver sales goals and objectives within territory and key customer accounts with excellence. You will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization to develop and execute customer strategies and business plans. You will also maintain an account list of top influential accounts in your market and deliver KPI goals.

ABOUT YOU

You are an inspiring leader and owner of your market putting the customer and consumer at the heart of everything you do to achieve sales goals and objectives, leaving a long‑lasting impact. You are an important day‑to‑day face of Bacardi toward the distributors, customers, and agency partners (ambassadors or event staff) in your dedicated territory and will act as the key contact for those customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable long‑lasting relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally utilizing Bacardi resources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximum performance and sales efforts by increasing volumes while building long‑lasting business opportunities in your market and account universe.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key customer accounts to create customer strategies and plans that translate into win/win scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluation of return on investments.
  • Manage your budget effectively by applying thoughtful financial decisions to increase profitability, demonstrating strong financial acumen with an understanding of retail finances, pricing, and logistics.
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team, communicating timely and accurate changes in field conditions that may affect volumes, staffing at distributors, and competitor activity.
  • Engage with the Regional Director and Human Resources to hire and develop successful primos through “Let’s Talk” discussions on specific primo performance feedback, evaluating against sales forecasts and KPI goals and providing guidance toward career goals.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Distributor, Advocacy Managers and Brand Marketing to survey the market, ensuring distribution, pricing, POS displays, programs and more are executed to standard.
  • Review overall market performance, including Rate of Sale drivers, activations and executions.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or related years of experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the spirits or beverage industry.
  • 2+ years of on/off‑premise experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the on and off‑premise business and the critical factors that drive customer decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable presenting to small groups, executives and partners.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic internet navigation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
