Job PurposeThe Midwest Wholesale Account Manager is responsible for championing the success of Swing Kingdom and Dealer partnerships, both legacy and developing, for the Midwest territory. They maintain this through thorough product knowledge, exceptional customer care, acquisition efforts, sales support, and logistics best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities Dealer Relations- Territory Expansion:
Oversee the identification, qualification, and establishment of new dealers in unoccupied Midwest territories. - Provide written contracts for dealers and assist them through the dealer onboarding process including initial display design and ordering.
- Support their understanding of product lines, ordering systems, site requirements, and marketing materials.
- Engage on-site for the first day of delivery to support installation best practices and celebrate the dealer launch.
- Coordinate and support comprehensive dealer training initiatives, including presentations at Dealer Days, conducting on-site training at dealer locations, maintaining proactive phone outreach, and managing targeted newsletters and email campaigns.
- Offer ongoing help, training, and troubleshooting to territory dealer network including in-person tutorials, virtual assistance, and verbal guidance.
- Confirm design best practices and assist to mitigate errors related to design incompatibilities.
- Convey marketing specials and ways for dealers to receive best discounts and opportunities.
- Confirm billing accuracy when dealer orders are confirmed, ensuring relevant discounts are accurately applied.
- Maintain all relevant knowledge for ASTM/ADA design support.
- Participate in content for Kingdom Connection.
- Represent the company in a courteous, professional manner, serving customers with excellence while maintaining clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to ensure they feel valued and understood.
- Answer inquiries related to orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Address concerns and find resolution to problems, ensuring customer/dealer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, accounting) to ensure consistent and excellent customer experience.
- Develop and establish a sales driven culture of excellence, creating new relationships while cultivating and growing existing ones.
- Support travel to strengthen and build relationships with new and existing customers through interactive communications, site visits, and summit and trade show participation (25% - 30% travel).
- Interdepartmental Support:
Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and overall growth of territory sales opportunities. - Supports CAPS Marketing department with unique and creative designs for regional campaigns and content.
- Supports the development of an internal install network for the Midwest region.
- Supports synergy throughout organization with regularly scheduled visits to Leola Facility and team meeting participation.
- Goal Execution:
Collaborate with internal team members and external dealers to establish and exceed annual sales targets, implementing actionable, structured SMART goals throughout the year to ensure year-end benchmarks are met. - Supports the development of Midwest Distribution Center.
- Completes Commercial Sales for Midwest region (SPIFF to dealers).
- Execute other job-related assignments and projects as directed by executive leadership.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer-facing sales or account management role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Ability to work independently; possess a competitive drive.
- Strong negotiating and closing skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions.
- Proficient in the regular use of CRM and Office
365 software.
- Office environment with standard climate control.
- Requires occasional stooping, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods for shows and on-site support.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds for shows and dealer visit.
- Adequate manual dexterity and visual acuity for computer work and documentation.
- Normal range of hearing and clear speaking abilities for effective communication.
