As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the primary link between our production capabilities and our customers' mission-critical needs. Your role is to drive growth through strategic relationship management and market expansion.
Location - Flexible
Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management
:
Maintain and strengthen our existing customer base while developing deep, long-term professional relationships. - Business Development
:
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and untapped market segments. - Sales Cycle Management
:
Quote prices, negotiate credit terms for orders, and manage the transition from lead to closed sale. - Operational Liaison
:
Stay informed of Company production and delivery schedules. You will collaborate closely with Universal internal personnel to provide accurate delivery estimates to your clients. - Quality Advocacy
:
Obtain consistent feedback on product satisfaction and report results back to the organization to drive continuous improvement.
We are looking for a seasoned professional who understands the technical nuances of the Specialty Metals Industry and possesses the commercial acumen to navigate complex global markets.
- B.S. Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience, specifically within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Deep knowledge of the Metals Industry and specialty alloy products is required.
- Proven ability to identify new market trends and opportunities in aerospace, defense, energy or corrosion.
- Thrives in a high-stakes, competitive environment; maintains a "get-it-done" attitude with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong negotiation skills and financial literacy regarding credit terms and pricing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical production teams and customer requirements.
