Sr. Account Associate - VFIB; Bala Cynwyd, PA

Overview

Valley Forge Insurance Brokerage (VFIB) is a nationwide wholesaler and a division of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). VFIB specializes in writing the coverages that PHLY does not offer. This includes Workers' Compensation, Inland Marine, Wind & Hail Deductible Buy-down and other specialty coverages. As a Senior Account Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing our business by supporting our team members, agents, and carriers while ensuring accurate policy processing and delivering exceptional service.

• Build relationships – Establish and maintain strong connections with agents and carriers to facilitate new and renewal business.
• Analyze and review – Evaluate documents for accuracy and compliance, discussing any changes in exposure, competition, pricing, or coverage concerns.
• Sales and cross‑selling – Use product knowledge to expand current accounts and introduce new business opportunities.
• Policy servicing – Process endorsements, audits, and renewals, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Provide expertise – Answer coverage‑related questions within your delegated authority.
• Maintain organized documentation – Keep accurate records of policy transactions and correspondence within our agency management systems (AIM and Image Right).

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of Property & Casualty insurance industry experience.
• Familiarity with wholesale or retail operations and experience working with both agents and carriers.
• Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
