Position Title: Outside Sales Representative.
Company DescriptionFor nearly 60 years, Trimline Windows has been manufacturing high-quality wood windows for the replacement, new construction, and historical rehabilitation markets, servicing the Mid-Atlantic region, Ohio, and New England through a network of window and door dealers and building material wholesalers. Its manufacturing operations and corporate headquarters are located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
ObjectiveMajor objective is to increase sales in the assigned territory of Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and metro NY / Long Island, through growing existing dealer/distributor relationships and creating new business opportunities. The expectation is to promote the Trimline brand by representing Trimline Windows in a professional manner, by providing excellent customer service, and by supporting existing customers and building new relationships that will yield new business.
Key Responsibilities- Account Development: Strengthen and expand business with current distributors, identifying new opportunities and increasing revenue per account.
- Prospecting: Maintain high activity standards—continually identify and qualify new distribution prospects; develop and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and other sources.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare impactful sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Customer Support: Identify and resolve customer concerns and issues; provide post-sale technical support and troubleshooting.
- Training & Promotion: Present new products and conduct regular product knowledge training sessions for distributors.
- Dealer Engagement: Support dealer trade shows and similar promotional events.
- Sales Discipline: Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the company with outstanding personal presentation, professionalism, and communication.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer service, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth distributor support.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in distribution channels, building materials, construction products, or similar industries.
- Fenestration experience a strong plus.
- Proven ability to open new accounts and grow existing client portfolios.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field a plus.
- Energetic, self-motivated, quota-driven, and highly confident.
- Must enjoy field work and direct contact with clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling style.
- Experience with industry-related computer quoting tools.
- Capacity to maintain a constant presence in the field, visiting distributors, job sites, and partners regularly.
This position is a strategic seed role intended for someone looking to grow into a Sales Manager Position within 2–3 years, leading a team and managing a broader territory or national distribution channel.
