Job summary:
The AG SALES SPECIALIST works under the direction of the AG/OTR Sales Manager; responsible for growing the Ag and OTR tire sales for K&M Tire in a designated region; extensive knowledge of the product and customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Increase Ag/OTR tire sales to produce maximum GP.
- Work with and provide training and assistance to our dealers.
- Assistance with tire warranties and adjustments.
- Maintain current customers’ sales and develop new business.
- Keep informed of current training to ensure customers receive the best sales/service possible.
Daily Duties:
l . Responsible for growing the ag/otr tire sales in the assigned territory while maintaining a high level of GP.
- Prospecting for new accounts
- Maintain current customers and help secure new ag/otr customers for our dealers.
- Must be knowledgeable of products and programs K&M has to offer with AG/OTR tires.
- Assist in getting slow moving AG/OTR tire inventory sold.
- Attend AG shows within K&M Tire sales territory.
- Performs related work as required in a team atmosphere.
- Present a clean, neat, professional appearance.
- Make it easy and convenient to do business with K&M Tire.
- Keep informed of current training to ensure customers receive the best sales/service possible.
- Anything else needed to help obtain the goals of K&M Tire.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to sell and possess strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-task, professional environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively both in written and oral communications.
- Possess a friendly and positive attitude.
- Project a professional image of yourself and the company.
- Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of sales experience in the Commercial Tire Market
