Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Outdoor Recreation & Site Amenities

Our client is a leading supplier of recreation/outdoor sports equipment, surfacing, shading, shelters and site amenities. They are seeking to hire a Regional Manager responsible for mentoring and developing a team of sales representatives within the region of NJ/NY/PA/DE.

The Manager will develop and implement strategies to assist and guide the team to overachieve their goals. The team works and builds relationships with Architectural Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Builders, Housing Complexes, Schools/Education (Day Care, K-12+), Fitness Facilities, Recreation Centers and Retail. Ideally seeking a manager accustomed to working with a field team and managing a team of 8-10.

Seeking candidates that reside in NJ or PA.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach a sales team
  • Manage the development and performance of the sales team
  • Recruiting, hiring and training new employees
  • Develop and oversee strategic sales plans to increase sales revenue
  • Create and implement sales processes and procedures
  • Drive sales, efficiencies and promote growth within region
  • Monitor the Sales team’s sales activity, analyze and report KPIs
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop sales best practices
  • Keep well-informed of available products/solutions, competitors, market trends
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and events
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Min. 5+ years of B2B Sales Management experience
  • Experience with in the architectural, construction, building material supply industry strongly preferred
  • Experience mentoring and developing a sales team
  • Experience building sales processes and developmental plans for a sales team
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Experience with CRM system
  • Strong relationship and partnership building skills
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to travel within the territory
  • Base Salary $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience) + Bonus
  • Expenses:
    Company Car + Gas, Phone
  • Benefits Stipend for employee
