Social Sales Manager

Overview

Villanova University is hiring a Social Sales Manager. This role involves generating revenue by maintaining existing business and soliciting new business through lead generation, conducting sales presentations, booking events, and managing client relations within the social market.

• Maintain existing business and generate new sales leads in the social events sector.
• Conduct catering sales presentations and sales calls to secure contracts.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and actively solicit new business via phone, letters, and site tours.
• Market Villanova University as a comprehensive venue for social events like weddings, proms, receptions, and more.
• Input data, generate contracts, and update client information in the Delphi system.
• Provide on-site event support, requiring some evening and weekend availability.
• Train and empower sales team members in decision-making for profitable business.
• Leverage Villanova and local programs for maximizing event bookings.

• Requirement:
  High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor s degree preferred but experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years combined experience in sales, leadership, and development; skilled in Delphi, strategic planning, marketing, budgeting, and analytics.

Salary range: $64,000 - $80,000, salaried grade 15, exempt classification.
