Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Sales leads strategic sales initiatives that drive occupancy, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure every prospective resident and family experiences compassionate, professional, and responsive service.
Responsibilities for Director of Sales:
- Ensure the confidentiality and protection of all resident and patient health information in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy and census goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and implement strategies that enhance the overall experience for residents, families, and referral partners.
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face sales calls with qualified referral sources to develop and strengthen professional relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic pre-call plans and utilize structured sales processes to secure referrals and drive admissions.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the senior living industry, local market trends, and key referral sources to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee promotion, public relations, and advertising initiatives to enhance community visibility and brand presence.
- Plan and coordinate facility events, seminars, and outreach activities that engage referral sources and community partners.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of sales strategies with organizational goals and occupancy targets.
Qualifications for Director of Sales:
- College degree preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of luxury senior living sales experience with a proven track record of building relationships and driving occupancy growth.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for serving seniors and building meaningful, trust-based relationships with families and referral partners.
- Strong understanding of the senior living market, with the ability to develop and execute strategic, market-specific sales and marketing plans.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to achieve organizational goals.
