HVAC Technical Support Specialist

We're looking for a HVAC knowledgeable candidate who has problem-solving skills and customer service abilities to join our team.

Essential Job Functions:

Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide technical training for customers and company staff
Develop customer relationships by fielding calls from them and providing technical support
Provide on-site equipment start-up assistance
Works closely with vendors to find answers for customers in technical and other needs
Uncovers and communicates sales and lead information to outside sales staff and management
Works with inside sales to provide technical support with sales quotes and orders
Works with area managers to fill in needs of the company in other areas
Recommends sales promotions, equipment and parts to customers
Traveling required
Continuously learning new HVAC technology, government energy programs, sales developments in the area and teaching it first to the rest of the company and then to customers

Qualifications:

HVAC associates or undergraduate degree
Minimum of 5 years of technical field experience and other technical experience at HVAC distribution or manufacturing
Relationship-building skills
Ability to navigate and learn new computer programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
