Location: Warrendale
Sovereign Consulting Inc., an award-winning environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a GIT / Geologist / Environmental Scientist with 5 to 10 years of experience for its Warrendale, PA office.
Responsibilities:
• Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling
• Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation
• Preparation of analytical data tables
• Report preparation
• Proposal preparation
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of environmental geology related experience
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• PA Geologist-in-Training or PA PG license a plus
• Experience with PA Act 2, PA UST, and Ohio BUSTR regulations
• PA Oil and Gas experience a plus
• Remediation system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus
• Demonstrated technical writing skills
• Clean driving record
• Occasional overnight travel
• Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills
Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate's ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
