As a Security Officer - Unarmed Evening Patrol in  
** West Hazleton, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to reports with clear communication and customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors; check identification and/or credentials in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken.

+ Complete routine reports and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, including reporting maintenance concerns and/or hazards observed during patrols.

* + Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Loss Prevention is preferred.

+ CPR Certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
