Allied Universal - Up to $18.00/hour - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security concerns.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and requesting public services when needed.;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in reports/logs.;
Support campus operations by assisting with visitor check-in, access control points, and providing directions and escorts as assigned.
