Casual Monitor

Job Summary

The Casual  will serve as a key member of the staff that monitors patronage of the Kenneth Langone Athletics Center (KLARC). The  will greet all individuals entering the facility and ensure safety and oversight of the venue.

• Open and close the KLARC according to facility procedures.
• Monitor facility access and ensure appropriate use of spaces.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment.
• Operate lights, AV, and fitness equipment as scheduled.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Report maintenance, custodial, and security issues.
• Greet and assist patrons professionally.
• Complete incident and injury reports as needed.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable in completing tasks.
• Ability to work well independently and in team settings.

Work involves minimal physical activity such as walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting. Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
